He has completed his special post graduate training in restorative dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 2006. He also took additional training in Orthodontics (braces treatment), Implants, Teeth Whitening and Cosmetic (Tooth-like Fillings, Veneers and Crowns/Bridges), Rotary Endodontics (Root Canal treatment) and Minor Oral Surgery (Wisdom Teeth and other surgical procedures). His particular interests in dentistry are Smile designing and Anti-Anxiety Techniques for the Dental Phobic (including Inhalation and Oral Sedation) in Australia, New Zealand and abroad. He also possesses special interests in Orthodontics, surgical removal of wisdom teeth, root canal treatment, implants, complex oral rehabilitation of worn, decayed teeth and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Dabholkar leads a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals to help manage his dental practice. They are progressive, gentle and caring towards their patients. He imparts to his staff his knowledge and skills on effective customer management and proper dental procedure delivery to provide exceptional and quality service with a smile!
Dr Wyn Nguyen GDip(dent), BOH(DentSci), Med, BBus(HRM)- Associate Dentist
As a dentist Wyn has worked in the public and private sectors. Wyn enjoys every aspect of dentistry with a special love for esthetic dentistry and fixed prosthodontics. Wyn takes great pride in ensuring that her work is the best possible solution to meet her patients’ needs. Wyn will always provide gentle, caring, conservative dentistry. Nowadays, when Wyn is not at work you will find her rock-climbing, biking, snowboarding or travelling (especially to climbing and boarding locations). Wyn also enjoys knitting, and recently bought an electric guitar. Although she can’t play, she has found that everything sounds great when the amp is preset to “Insane” mode.
Dr Anu Angel Kuriakose BDS - Associate Dentist Dr Anu is a caring and gentle clinician whose calming manners always put patients at ease. Having graduated in India in 2004, and with a gold medal in Conservative (Restorative) Dentistry and Endodontics, Dr Anu Angel is a highly valued member or our team. She has a keen interest in oral cancer and enjoys participating in furthering her studies. In her spare time Dr Anu Angel enhances her creative side by painting and through her passion for landscape photography.
Dr Ajitha Sugnanam - Associate Dentis
 Ajitha otherwise known as AJ, is yet another multi-lingual, international dentist whose grown up in Canada and Australia and graduated from Griffith University. Ajitha is our friendly Saturday dentist. She is in the military full time and works in private practice on Saturday's because that's how much she loves dentistry and working with people. She believes it is very important to maintain your oral health after getting treated, so she likes to teach the patients as much as she does treat them. She is very approachable so you don't need to hesitate when asking questions and you definitely don't need to hesitate telling the truth about how many times you brush or floss. She definitely feels she's not there to judge, and she'll do anything she can to help you feel comfortable and taken care of. In her spare time she likes to keep fit playing touch footy, doing martial arts, and running. Every since she graduated she has wanted to travel and volunteer, so starting this year she's going to third world countries every year to do dentistry on the less fortunate.Andrea Javorkai- Dental Hygienist/Oral Therapist
As a mother of two, Andrea understands children and has worked with them for over 20 years as a dental therapist; providing dentistry for ages 4-17. She is excellent with children as she makes them relax and educates them in a fun, confident manner to care for their teeth for life. Andrea is passionate about oral health and she aims to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Her special interest is helping people with gum disease “periodontitis” to keep their teeth for longer. She works closely with our dentist to develop personalised preventative programs for patients.

Dr. Dabholkar has been practicing dentistry here in Australia and abroad for over 12 years. His extensive experience in his profession and commitment to serve the public pushed him to establish the Smiles Dental Care, which he serves as its principal dentist.
Wyn spent the earliest years of her life in a grass hut on the banks of a river in Vietnam. Her family then hopped on a leaky boat bound for freedom and opportunity. Since then Wyn has made the most of her good luck through full time work and study. Wyn has several university degrees and has tried her hand at many different occupations including fine arts studies and debt collection before finder her true calling in dentistry.
Andrea has many years of experience in dental hygiene and understands that having your teeth cleaned can sometimes be a scary experience. She is a caring, gentle hygienist and will give you the best advice to keep your gums and teeth in optimum health.
Melody began her dental nursing career here in Margate in 1984 so she brings a lot of experience to Smiles. Married for twenty-five years, she has two teenage children. Melody shares Dr Amol’s passion for delivering dentistry with a difference. A caring and compassionate person, Melody will assist in making your visit to Smiles as pleasant and comfortable of an experience for you as possible.
Kathy has a welcoming and friendly nature; she will greet you with a warm smile every time you visit us. With many years of administration experience, Kathy will calmly and efficiently assist you in booking an appointment, will sort out your account details and deal with any of that messy paperwork that we all know and love. Having worked in a school for many years and being the mother of two, Kathy loves interacting with children and easily establishes a relaxed atmosphere.
Vanessa is a fully qualified and highly experienced dental assist who strives to make your visits to Smiles Dental Care exceed your expectations. She is well-versed in all dental procedures and is eager to ensure you understand what to expect during your entire treatment process. Vanessa is a mother to three children and has been heavily involved in her children’s school. As a busy mum, Vanessa is a very caring and compassionate person with a great sense of fun. With her by your side you are sure to experience a pleasant trip to the dentist every time.
Alana, a local girl, is one of the newest members of the family at Smiles Dental Care, having recently finished her qualification with the Queensland Health South West District, servicing small rural communities. Alana brings with her vast skills, great initiative and a friendly and attentive disposition. She loves the company of her family and friends and spending time out in the great outdoors, which brought her back to Redcliffe after her brief time away. Alana is very enthusiastic towards new technology and embraces all the latest gadgets we have at Smiles. 
Dee has been a dental assistant since 1983 and has worked in hospital clinics as well as private practice. She also holds qualifications in beauty therapy/massage and aged care nursing.Dee loves working with the friendly and professional team at Smiles Dental Care and really enjoys helping all our patients to feel welcome and cared for in our relaxed environment. Dee is very gentle, caring and a perfectionist in everything she does; when you are with Dee you can rest assured that you are well taken care of.When not at work, Dee likes to spend time with her husband and family of 3 grown up children and is currently renovating her home. She loves living by the bay and going for long walks with her dog.
Claira finished grade 12 in 2009, and had always shown an interest in becoming a dental nurse. After a gap year, Claira has now joined the friendly team at Smiles, and is looking forward to obtaining her certificate in the next year. Having been competing in Highland Dancing competitions since the age of seven, Claira brings a young vitality to the practice.
Jenna is our newest team member and loves every minute of it. She is very enthusiastic about her study and thoroughly enjoys the practical work as well. With her friendly personality, Jenna brings a fresh, wholesome vibe to the practice. She is very meticulous in everything she does and is very dedicated and passionate.
Karen has worked in the dental industry for many years and brings to the team a huge wealth of knowledge and skills. Karen is often patient’s first point of contact with the practice so her smile is often the first step in your journey with us. She will make your every visit to Smiles Dental Care as smooth and as effortless as possible. She is more than happy to help with any enquires that you have regarding treatment, as well as any other general enquires that you may have. Karen has an amazing talent for remembering names and faces so she regularly greats our patients by their name. When Karen isn’t at work she enjoys cooking, watching AFL and caring for her family.
After 11 years of being a full-time mum and doing a host of volunteer work at her sons’ school, Nicole decided to rejoin the workforce. Having an obsessive compulsive cleaning nature and as well as a science degree, Nicole is well suited to the roles of Sterilisation Technician and Practice Cleaner. To attest as to how much she enjoys cleaning and sterilising Nicole can be heard singing as she cleans – unfortunately not always in tune but still a very happy sound. Nicole is very proud of the way she makes the entire practice sparkle and we can confidently say that our sterilisation and disinfection protocols are of Australian hospital standards.
