Dr Amol has successfully completed numerous internationally renowned courses and continuing education programs and has substantial experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has extensive experience and training in orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatments, rotary endodontics and minor oral surgeries, including wisdom teeth removal, which all form part of the treatments offered at Smiles Dental Care. His particular interests lie in smile design techniques and anti-anxiety treatments, and he works primarily in surgical dentistry, orthodontics and implants.
Dr Amol leads a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals to help manage his dental practice. They are progressive, gentle and caring towards their highly-valued patients. He imparts his knowledge and skills to his team and practices and promotes exceptional and quality service with a smile!
When not working, he especially enjoys spending time with family - his mother, Swati, his wife, Rujuta and two little twin daughters - Myra and Manya. The twins definitely keep him on his toes. In his free time, he loves watching movies - suspense thrillers and biographies are his favourites; listening to music including instrumental- saxophone, piano, upbeat like rock and roll, Bollywood film old songs; travelling and scenic photography. He is also dedicated to the community and takes pride in sponsoring children in need.
As a child, I had very crooked teeth and never used to smile. As a teenager, I had braces, and they gave me a huge boost in self-confidence. I was so inspired by my dentist, that I knew it was the career for me. I have truly enjoyed dentistry since day one. I enjoy all kinds of food cuisines, and I especially love dessert. When I’m not at work, I spend my time practicing yoga, hiking and exploring new restaurants in the area.
I have always been interested in Science, and at the University, I realised I truly desired a career in the medical field. In 2002, I graduated from the University of Western Australia in Perth. I have been working as a general dentist ever since.
I can provide my patients with a complete range of general dental services to suit their needs. I am committed to offering a high level of service, a focus on patient care and the best health outcomes for all age groups. As part of providing your dental care, I enjoy keeping up-to-date with current and new innovations and techniques in dentistry. I am a proud member of the Australian Dental Association.
I currently live in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast with my wife, son and daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy eating American BBQ (I smoke my own meat!) and spicy foods, watching action and thriller movies, listening to r&b, rap and hip hop music and spending time with my family.
